CCWESTT Membership Policy
Applications for membership in CCWESTT are welcome from any organizations interested in furthering the objectives of the Coalition. All applications are approved by the Board of Directors of CCWESTT, which consists of the current member organizations.
Membership in CCWESTT includes a number of benefits including the ability to:
- participate in bimonthly conference calls, the Annual General Meeting and biennial conference the aim of which is to guide and highlight the direction and work of CCWESTT and its member organizations
- increase opportunities to develop networking and mentoring relationships with women in SETT across Canada
- participate in CCWESTT standing committees, which undertake various activities related to promoting and supporting women in SETT in Canada (see the Policies and Procedures document for the full list of committees)
- receive and contribute to electronic newsletters, lists and bulletins containing current information about events and activities of interest to women in SETT
Membership Fees
Membership categories consist of Professional/Academic Associations, Student Organizations and NGO’s and Honorary Members. Membership fees are submitted with the application and renewed each year at the Annual General Meeting. No member group will be exempted from participation in the Coalition for reasons of lack of funds. In such cases, a sliding scale membership fee will be available which ranges from $20-$50.
